We are the Professional Association for Childcare and Early
Years also referred to as "PACEY", "us" or "we" below and have our
registered office at Royal Court, 81 Tweedy Road, Bromley, Kent BR1
1TG. We are both a charity and a registered company. Our registered
charity number is 295981 and our limited company number is
2060964.
Until recently our company name was the National Childminding
Association (NCMA). The NCMA name, acronym, logos, websites
and trademarks remain the property of PACEY. For the avoidance of
doubt, any reference in these terms and conditions to the company’s
name, acronym, logos, websites, trademarks or copyright material
(or similar) includes those items created and used under our
previous company name.
The privacy policy below (the "Policy") sets out how the
Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years uses and
protects any Personal Information that you give us when you
use the following websites that we operate:

you personally such as your name, e-mail address and/or postal

any of your Personal Information to us. You do not need to

Should we ask you to provide some Personal Information when using
the Websites, then you can be assured that it will only be used in

What we collect
You may browse the Websites without telling us who you are or
revealing any Personal Information. The only information we gather
during general browsing is from standard server logs. These include
your IP (Internet Protocol) address, domain name, browser type,
operating system, and information such as the website that referred
you to us, the files you downloaded, the pages you visit, and the
dates/times of those visits. This information is not used to
develop a personal profile of you. The log files are regularly
purged.

example, if you register for a newsletter, order a product from our
shop, request information or ask for updates on jobs at PACEY.

Keeping in Touch with our
Members
By becoming a member of PACEY you agree to receive
information from PACEY about products and services provided by
PACEY, any subsidiary company of PACEY or carefully selected
partners.
We will send this information to you by telephone,
fax, email, text or post unless you tell us otherwise when you join
or by writing to us at Membership Services, PACEY, Royal Court, 81
Tweedy Road, Bromley, BR1 1TG.
If you have signed up to any preference service, but
would like to continue to receive information from PACEY, you will
need to confirm this to us when you join or by writing to us at

Controlling your Personal Information
You can choose to restrict the collection or use of
your personal information, whether or not you are a
member.
Members can manage their
preferences through mypacey or by calling Membership Services on
0845 880 0044. Please note that if you are a member but you
ask us not to send you information you will not receive regular
news updates, including valuable information on childcare issues,
or be notified of member benefits to which you may be entitled.
Non-members completing online
forms, should look for a box which you can click to indicate that,
depending on the circumstances, you do or do not want the
information to be used by PACEY for particular purposes.
Both Members and Non-Members can change their mind
at any time by writing to PACEY, Royal Court, 81 Tweedy Road,
Bromley, Kent BR1 1TG or emailing us at info@pacey.org.uk.
As a matter of principle, we will not sell,
distribute or lease your Personal Information to third parties
unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We
may use your Personal Information to send you promotional
information about third parties which we think you may find
interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen. We
will only share your details with selected third parties to
the extent that they need the information to provide the products
or services we are promoting and providing to you.
You may request details of Personal Information
which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small
fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information

holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email
us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will use
reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete personal
