PACEY's Laptop Donation Scheme

To mark Childminding Week 2024, PACEY is working with Deloitte’s 5 Million Futures social impact programme to support and champion early years professionals and the impact you have on the lives of children and their families.

We are excited to announce that we have been kindly gifted laptops through Deloitte’s laptop donation scheme, to distribute to 200 lucky PACEY members. You only need to pay postage!

*Please note* This scheme was initially limited to those providing for children with SEND/ALN and/or children from disadvantaged backgrounds. We have now removed this restriction and the scheme is open to ALL PACEY members. Please enter via the form below.

Who is eligible to enter?

What happens if I am chosen?

200 entries will be chosen at random and notified by a member of the PACEY team. Please note we are launching this giveaway during Childminding Week 2024 but due to high expected volumes, we will be managing it on a rolling basis over the coming weeks. Our team will take payment over the phone to cover the cost of shipping the laptop to you.

What is the closing date?

Friday 31 May 2024.

What do I have to pay?

We require chosen entrants to pay £10 to cover the cost of delivering your laptop to you.

What is the market value of each device?   

£250 per laptop.

When will the laptops be delivered?

We will be posting the laptops on a rolling basis over the next few weeks. Please bear with us as we arrange these to be delivered to you. You will be notified when your laptop has been sent.

What do the laptops come with?

The laptops are refurbished HP laptops in a variety of models and come complete with:

  • Intel i5-6300U 6th Gen 2.4GHz
  • 8GB RAM
  • 256GB SSD
  • 13.3" display
  • Windows 10 Home
  • A touchscreen with a built-in webcam
  • 6 months warranty
  • Power cable

What is not included?

The laptops don’t come with:

  • Accessories including earphones, internet dongles, mouse or separate keyboard.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

 

Terms and conditions

- Only PACEY members who fill out our form in full can enter.

- Members may only enter once

- Entries will close at 11.59pm on Friday 31 May. 200 entrants will be chosen at random.

- Chosen entrants will be notified on a rolling basis by a member of PACEY’s team and payment for delivery will be taken.

- Closing date for submissions is 11.59pm Friday 31 May 2024.
