Regional networking morning: Bristol

PACEY's Regional networking mornings are coming to Bristol! On Saturday 22 June at the Mercure Bristol Gran Hotel, we will be hosting a morning for early years providers from Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Our regional mornings are an opportunity for providers to get together to support each other, with powerful talks, great exhibitors and networking sessions.

Why attend?

You will take away vaulable information and resources to use in your role in areas such as SEND, safeguarding and child development and meet other providers in your area for support.


This is event is open to both PACEY members who can attend for FREE as benefit of their PACEY membership and to non-members who will be charges a small fee to cover costs.

We welcome everyone from the Bristol, Bath, North East Somerset and the surrounding areas and surrounding areas and to support as many childcare practitioners as we can!

Childminders, Childminding Assistants, Nannies, Nursery Managers, Nursery Workers and Early Years students, training providers and consultants all welcome!

Katie Crouch is currently Senior Lecturer and Research Fellow at Bath Spa University. She has worked with families within early years, school, medical and home-based settings. Katie is currently working on a research project which is focusing on inclusion and equity for those with disabilities and their families across the southwest of England.

Liv McLennan is a community musician and has worked for Boogie Mites as a tutor and trainer for 12 years. Liv has contributed to the compilation of Boogie Mites teacher training notes and workshops, she loves bringing the joys and benefits of music-making to everyone involved with children in the early years including parents, families and early childhood practitioners, and enabling everyone to find their musical voice.

Karen Hill-Wood is a four times outstanding graded Ofsted registered childminder with 26 years' experience. 

Tracy Graham is the owner of Wildhearts Early Years Education and Childcare. She had EYPS and a been a childminder since 2012. 

Angela Gamble is the Information, Advice and Guidance Manager at the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY). Angela’s career in the sector started when she became a childminder and now has over 15 years of experience in early years. After gaining a BA Hons degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, she had various roles in children centres supporting parents and families for eight years. At PACEY Angela leads on the development of training, CPD and content. She also manages the practice advice service and curates and delivers a full programme of events including the PACEY Live webinars and the annual conference. 

Gary Harrison is the Commercial Manager at Morton Michel Ltd. Gary has worked at Morton Michel for over 15 years and is passionate about transforming the perception of early education. He works closely with early years professionals, gaining an understanding of their challenges and the importance of providing high-quality care and education to young children. He has also contributed to the development of insurance and risk management solutions that support providers in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff in their care.
