Organisations call for policy makers to put children first

Following the launch of the Save Childhood movement’s ‘Too Much Too Soon’ campaign last year, the leader’s of England’s key early years organisations have now united in a call to put children’s wellbeing at the heart of policy making in this country.

A letter written to the leaders of all the main political parties highlights a shared concern about the Department for Education’s disregard of expert opinion and advice in  the development of early years policies.

As a signatory to the campaign’s Open Letter published in the Telegraph in September 2013, PACEY continues to support the Save Childhood Movement. It recently published its Early Years Manifesto which set out eleven policy points for political parties to consider for their own election manifestos.
