CSSIW advisory board

PACEY Cymru is working with other national childcare organisations in Wales to represent the childcare and early years sector on CSSIW’s new National Advisory Board.

Meeting for the first time this week, the National Advisory Board will give a stronger voice to citizens and stakeholders and provide advice and recommendations on how care and social services in Wales can be improved.

Speaking about the National Advisory Board CSSIW's Chief Inspector Imelda Richardson said:

"The members of our new National Advisory Board will represent the voice of families, relatives, carers and service users, but also the views of all stakeholders involved in care and social services."

The Board will meet four times a year in locations around Wales and is chaired by an independent member and made up of a range of people CSSIW work with as well as citizens.
