PACEY Cymru is pleased to announce they have
been successful in gaining future Welsh Government funding through
the Children and Families Delivery Grant from October 2014 until
September 2017 as part of ‘CWLWM’.
CWLWM (Childcare Wales
Learning and Working Mutually) brings together the five leading
childcare organisations in Wales to deliver a bilingual integrated
service that will ensure the best possible outcomes for children
and families across Wales, within the Welsh Government's
'whole-system' approach.
CWLWM will be led by Mudiad
Meithrin (MM) in partnership with Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs
(CPCKC), National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA Cymru),
Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY
Cymru) and Wales Pre-School Providers Association (Wales
PPA). These organisations, working in partnership, will bring
together an ability, based on a wealth of experience, to tackle
issues within the Childcare and Play sector in Wales on a wide
range of issues. These include issues around sustainability,
workforce development and the identification of gaps in childcare
provision, especially Welsh medium and in rural areas.
More information on the grant and the
succesful recipients is available on the
Welsh Government website and you can read the official
press release on behalf of Cwlwm here.
Further information will be shared as work
progresses and is confirmed.
