Wales Business Assessment

Wales Business Assessment

‘Cwlwm’ (Childcare Wales, Learning and Working Mutually) has produced a Business Assessment questionnaire for use with settings in Wales. PACEY Cymru as one of the organisations in Cwlwm has supported the development of this questionnaire and are now working on promoting and collating information on it in order to gain an insight into childcare and early years settings’ business needs across Wales.

The aim of this assessment is to help you as the provider of childcare and/or play services to think about how you manage different aspects of your business. All organisations need to plan ahead and completing this assessment is a good way of making sure that you are reflecting on all areas of your business. It will help identify where you are and areas that you need to think about.

The benefits of the completion of this assessment will assist you in completing your:

  • CSSIW Self-Assessment of Service (SAS) form for your business
  • CSSIW Quality of Care report
  • Reflect on and improve sustainability and best practice
  • Support with quality assurance schemes

The bilingual assessment questionnaire is now available through an online survey through the following links.  Please note that as this is a generic questionnaire for the childcare and play sector some questions may not be relevant to your setting.
