As of 1st April 2016, the new National Living Wage comes into effect. This means anyone working in the UK, aged 25 and over, is legally entitled to at least £7.20 per hour.
It doesn’t matter how big or small your childcare business is, if you employ anyone you will have to pay them the Living Wage.
The minimum wage rate varies according to worker’s age and whether they are an apprentice - be sure to check that your staff are earning the correct amount.
