The new EYFS has now been released, bringing together changes in legislation published since the 2014 framework.
The changes to the framework are not huge, but you should take the time to review the changes that have been made and familiarise yourself with the new framework.
We've produced an EYFS 2017 at-a-glance document to walk you through the changes, and you can download this here.
And a new blog from our friends at the British Heart Foundation explores the Chief Medical Officers’ Guidelines for physical activity and what it means for early years professionals. Read the blog here.
The new EYFS becomes mandatory on Monday 3 April 2017. From this date, all providers in England will be inspected against the updated framework.
Now that the framework has been updated and released, we are updating our training and resources to ensure that the information is accurate.
We are selling printed copies of the EYFS framework document. Please note that these copies are produced on a non-profit basis - the cost of the product covers printing, production and dispatch only.
