A recent cabinet reshuffle has led to a number of ministerial changes at the Department for Education (DfE). Nadhim Zahawi, MP for Stratford-on Avon, has been brought into the DfE as a junior education minister. He has confirmed on social media that he will be taking on responsibility for early years, as well as social work.

Tax changes in Wales

From 6 April 2019, Welsh rates of income tax will be introduced.  Income tax will continue to be collected by HMRC. You will not need do anything as long as HMRC has your correct address - check and update your address through your personal tax account.
