The Department for Education (DfE) has released the latest statistics on the number of 30 hours childcare codes issued and validated for the spring term 2018. This follows statistics released in February 2018 on the use of 30 hours childcare. There has been an 1% increase since February, from 92% to 93%. This is 1% less than a comparable point in the autumn term (94%).
Summer term stats, correct as of 7th March 2018, show that only 73% of codes have been validated so far. However, at a comparable point last term (December), 74% of codes for the following term had been validated.
