Do you want to be part of Social Care Wales' first ever 'Early years and childcare managers forum'?
Social Care Wales will be holding its first early years and childcare manager forum this year, and are pleased to be working in partnership with Cardiff Workforce Development and Accredited Centre on this exciting venture.
The forum will be a great opportunity for managers to meet with other managers in their region – to share experiences and learn from each other, hear what’s happening at both regional and national level and to discuss current issues and feed into the development of key pieces of work.
The programme will include a short update on current developments from Social Care Wales, the newly developed Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development (CCPLD) qualifications, and a presentation from Cardiff Council on the 30 hour childcare offer.
In addition you will be amongst the first to hear about the development of the new All Wales Induction Framework for Early Years and Childcare, which will be launched at the end of October by Huw Irranca-Davies, the Minister for Children, Older People and Social Care.
The forum will take place on Wednesday evening, 14th November 2018 at the Lecture Theatre, Eastmoors Road, Splott, Cardiff, CF24 5RR at 6pm for registration and refreshments for a prompt 7pm start. The forum is open to those who manage early years, childcare or play settings in Wales.
