Looking for ideas on how to introduce more Welsh vocabulary throughout your practice to support children’s learning? Whether you have little Welsh language skills, you are a Welsh learner, or fluent Welsh speaker our training events, supported by Welsh Government funding, will offer some ideas and scenarios for you to use back at your setting whatever your level of Welsh language skills.

Angel Hotel, Castle Street, Cardiff, CF10 1SZ

Lunch and refreshments are provided for all attendees.

What will the training include?

• Storytelling workshop by Cath Little.
• Welsh rhyme and sign time.
• Useful resources.
• General update on PACEY Welsh language related support and Gwiriwr the Welsh language level checker.

You will receive a certificate of attendance for your records and don’t forget your attendance will count towards your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours.

How do I book on and how much does it cost?

PACEY Members and all home based childcare providers in Wales can attend by paying a contribution of £10 towards the cost of the events (non-refundable). Details of how to pay is available on the booking form. For non-members who are working in childcare and early years sector the cost is £15 per person (non-refundable). Lunch and refreshments are included. All payments include VAT.

A booking form and payment is required to secure your place. Please note places are subject to availability and we suggest booking early to avoid disappointment and are limited initially to one member of staff per childcare setting.
