The Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY) and Morton Michel are building on their already successful partnership working in the field of specialist insurance by today launching PACEY’s new Manager membership for nurseries and pre-schools.

NEWS: Settings forced to close leaving parents unable to access provision

Today the BBC reported that the number of early years and childcare providers being driven to permanently close their doors is leaving parents in England without access to early years and childcare provision.

The Department for Education is inviting practitioners in England to submit questions for an upcoming webinar explaining the early years and childcare ratios consultation.

A report published yesterday by Policy Exchange titled ‘Better Childcare’ calls for change in the early years and childcare system to ‘expand the childminder profession’ and improve support for parents with the cost of provision.
