PACEY is carrying out a survey of early years and childcare practitioners to better understand the mental health and wellbeing of the workforce and of the children and families that use their services.
The survey is open to early years and childcare practitioners (PACEY members and non-members) in England and Wales, closing on 22 June. It will take around 10-15 minutes to complete, and respondents are welcome to skip any questions they do not feel comfortable answering.

Survey aims and purpose
This survey will provide us with insight into the wellbeing of those working in the early years and childcare sector, identify what support might be useful and continue to call for improved support and recognition. The findings will also help us shape our PACEY resources to better protect and promote positive mental wellbeing among our members.
We know that early years and childcare practitioners have a vital role in supporting the emotional wellbeing of children and often their families too, and our survey asks for practitioner views and insight on this.
The findings will also be used as evidence in our response to the Government’s 10-year plan to support mental health in England (find additional information on this consultation).
