NEWS: Energy Bill Relief Scheme - Have your say

The Government is circulating a questionnaire to non-domestic customers (i.e. private businesses) to inform the BEIS review of the Energy Bill Relief Scheme.

The Energy Bill Relief Scheme runs from 1 October 2022 to 1 March 2023, and the review will help inform what further support is needed after this time. The questionnaire is designed for private sector organisations on non-domestic energy contracts, so the DfE is inviting eligible early years settings to complete this to help inform the review.

Please note this does not cover providers on domestic energy contracts (childminders working in their homes should not complete the survey).

The questionnaire asks about a range of topics including energy costs and usage, other costs and expectations for the months ahead.

The DfE continues to work with HMT, BEIS and partner organisations to represent those not covered in this piece of work (e.g. public sector organisations and domestic providers). More information on support for these settings will be available soon.

The questionnaire will close at 11:55pm on Sunday 30th October 2022. More information can be found on the Foundation Years website
