NEWS: Universal Credit changes and EYFS Government consultation

Today the Government has announced that the proposals in the Spring 23 Budget around Universal Credit will go ahead this June and proposals to changes in the EYFS and a subsequent consultation.

NEWS: Childcare Offer Digital platform / Llwyfan digidol y Cynnig Gofal Plant

PACEY Cymru have raised concerns from members in relation to issues with the Childcare Offer Digital platform in recent weeks. NEWS: Important changes to the NMS / Newidiadau pwysig i’r SGC

Today the Deputy Minister for Social Services published a refresh of the National Minimum Standards (NMS) for regulated childcare following a public consultation into the standards in 2022 / Heddiw, cyhoeddodd y Dirprwy Weinidog Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol fersiwn ddiwygiedig o’r Safonau Gofynnol Cenedlaethol ar gyfer Gofal Plant a Reoleiddir yn dilyn ymgynghoriad cyhoeddus ar y Safonau yn 2022.

NEWS: Results from our PACEY England Members Survey: Spring Budget 2023

Following the release of the 2023 Spring Budget in March and the array of childcare measures proposed, we asked England PACEY members to complete a survey designed acquire feedback from our members regarding the childcare proposals and how our members feel they will impact the childcare sector. The majority of these proposals still need to go through Parliament and we will be using the responses and data to support our arguments for and against each proposal aswell as giving a voice to our members and their concerns.
