NEWS: Leeds University survey on childminding during the pandemic

PACEY members in England and Wales are invited to take part in a survey on childminding during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is the second wave survey as part of the Childcare During COVID-19 project - a large-scale research project that seeks to understand the impact of the pandemic on the early years education and childcare sector in England and Wales. The survey’s first wave for childminders was back in January 2021.

This research is supported by the Centre for Employment Relations, Innovation and Change (CERIC) at Leeds University Business School and funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

The results of the survey will be used to understand the impacts of the pandemic on childcare sector and make policy recommendations to better support practitioners and the families that use their settings.
