NEWS: Ofsted update on national lockdown arrangements

Ofsted have issued an update on how it plans to manage registration and inspection visits in England during the national lockdown and, as part of this, to work with childminders, nurseries, pre-schools and nannies due a visit, to minimise risks and adhere to guidance.

Alongside this, Ofsted has also reminded providers that its plan to return to EIF inspections in January 2021 in England is being kept under review and considering what, if any adaptations it may need to make once they do take place again. PACEY has been providing advice and support to Ofsted as it develops this thinking, so the regulator understands the challenges and constraints our members will still be facing in January, even if the national lockdown is over by then.
