NEWS: PACEY calls on sector to raise concerns after under 5s are excluded from new funding

With Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, due to officially announce the catch-up funding for children in England later today, PACEY is calling on providers, parents, and anyone else with an interest in early years care and education to take five minutes to send him a tweet, a Facebook message or a letter to say how you feel about the government’s decision to exclude children under 5 from this programme.

You can tweet Boris Johnson at @10DowningStreet and @BorisJohnson or tag him @10downingstreet or @BorisJohnson on Facebook. You can also write to 10 Downing Street London, SW1A 2AA.

At PACEY we are saying that children under 5 deserve help too and, after years of government underfunding of early education entitlement, registered childminders, nurseries and pre-schools need you to step-up and support them with additional funding. Just like they stepped up during the pandemic to risk lives and livelihoods by staying open for vulnerable children and critical workers #earlyyearsmatters
