Inspiring from cover to cover, this book supports childcare professionals to engage parents in children’s learning by drawing on PACEY members' expertise.

Working in partnership with parents is central to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in England.

Childcare professionals need to gain input from parents so that they can plan successfully for the children’s learning. Allowing parents to develop their own skills, knowledge and understanding of their importance as their children’s teachers will enable them to recognise that they are the most important educators in their child’s life.

Thank you PACEY - what a wonderful resource bringing together so many ideas of how to involve parents in their child's learning. It is really nice to read all the different, easy to implement and effective ideas that other childcare settings use. I am sure that everyone that reads this will be able to adopt some of these ideas into their setting to help them to share information with parents/carers.

Well done PACEY on this really easy to read book. Full of short sharp information that you can pick up and start anywhere in the book. Sometimes engaging parents in the setting can be difficult, and there are lots of practical ideas gathered from all sorts of settings , proof that the ideas work!
