ONLINE EXCLUSIVE single-use digital contract for childminders in England, setting out the professional relationship between the registered childminder and parent. 

These contracts cover hours, fees, holidays and retainers, plus have been updated for 2020 to include enforced closures and pandemics. Available to purchase individually - simply buy as many as you need. 

PACEY Childminding Digital Contracts, with additional guidance notes, are designed to better protect you and reduce common areas of dispute, such as deposits, holidays and payments. PACEY's contracts are tried and tested, meaning you get exactly the same level of legal protection you have come to expect from PACEY.

Once purchased, you will receive an email which will take you to the PACEY Digital Products portal, where you can manage all contracts. Full instructions on completing and managing your contracts are provided within the portal, along with FAQs and an explainer video, but if you have any questions please email: digitalproducts@pacey.org.uk.

Please note these contracts are digital and single-use only. Once completed and signed by both parent and childminder they cannot be amended but they can be printed and will be stored as PDFs.

You will not receive a hard copy but will receive a link to a portal where you can complete your contract online. You will need access to a computer, laptop or tablet and basic IT skills to be able to complete the contracts. We would not advise attempting to complete the contract on a smartphone.  If a contract is being checked on a smartphone or tablet please ensure that the software is updated.

Really like the digital contracts, saves time and easily stored on the computer saving paper. Wish you could do the child record forms online to.

I find these contract very easy to use. You can amend them before sending them to parents and they are easy to store on the computer. The days of mislaid contracts are gone. Quite a few of my parent have commented how professional they find receiving a copy of the digital contract. I have been using them for a year now. Well done pace. the effort is appreciated.

I love the digital contracts . It saves lots of information for the next contract ,so saves time writing out name , address , hourly rate etc.
The thing I would change is the parent signature space I would like to see 2 spaces , 1 for each parent. Also I don’t find it easy to access the contracts again . The link from a PACEY email is the only way I have found . I would not go back to the paper copy .

Brilliant! Really easy to use and will save a lot of time going forwards! Just a couple of points, the forms do not allow for school children's contracted hours, and parents CAN amend the contract themselves when you send it for review, so be careful when they send it back to check it through! Also, a direct link from the main Pacey page to the digital downloads page would be useful. Other than that, great, well done Pacey and thank you :)
