PACEY webinars - live online learning
A webinar is a way to learn online, in real time. It is a web-based seminar which is transmitted over the internet. One of the key benefits is that it is interactive - participants are able to give, receive and discuss information.
There are a number of benefits to online training.
One webinar participant, Anne, from Lancashire, said: "I was part of the webinar training this morning and I have to say that I think it was fantastic. I sat in my favourite rocking chair at the computer and wore my teenage son’s earphones with microphone to participate in the discussion. The trainer was fantastic and made the discussion lively and relevant and I feel that I gained a lot from this.
"Being in the comfort of my own home instead of driving elsewhere on a Saturday morning meant that I was comfortable and contented and therefore I felt that I participated well with the group discussions. I even managed to put my dishwasher on when we had a break which meant I ended the session with a tidy kitchen! I would certainly recommend the webinar for future training."
