Caring for over-8s - CIW changes

Are you ready?

From April 2016 the upper age limit for the registration of childcare provision in Wales will be extended from 8 to 12 years. This means that if you are caring for children under 12 you need to be registered with CIW (from April 2016). If you are already registered with CIW to care for children under 8 and wish to care for over 8s you will need to have a clear awareness of what is required to of you meet CIW’s requirements. PACEY Cymru has shared news stories and updates with you on this issue.
