At the beginning of 2017 PACEY formed a partnership with Itec to support the delivery of Level 3 and Level 5 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development (CCLD) to members in Wales.
Itec was established over 30 years ago to meet emerging skills gaps; today it has grown to become one of Wales's largest providers of skills and employment services.
Itec have a team of employees within the early years, childcare and play settings that are skilled, dedicated and who work to the company ethos.
They have a team of over 170 employees and are able to support over 5,000 learners. They and work in partnership with around 1,000 employers per year.
As a training provider in Wales Itec are inspected by Estyn, who inspect quality and standards. Read their latest inspection report to find out more about their current performance and prospects for improvement.
PLATO are a subcontractor of ITEC under the Progress for Success Programme.
Itec are able to deliver training to those living in the following Local Authority areas;
Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Swansea, Torfaen, Vale of Glamorgan

If you have checked you meet the eligibility criteria on our Higher Level Qualifications page and have chosen Itec as your preferred training organisation the first step is to complete an Expression of Interest Form these are available in English and Welsh.

Print out the form, complete the necessary details and post back to the Wales office (the address is on the form). PACEY Cymru will then check the details provided and forward to Itec who will contact you by phone or email with next steps.
