Become a non-registered/non-approved nanny

If you're a nanny, you have the opportunity to register with Ofsted, if you live in England.  If you live in Wales you have the opportunity to join the Approval of Home Childcare Providers (Wales) Scheme. PACEY is a professional association and as such we strongly recommend that you register with the appropriate regulatory body. The benefits of registering as a nanny include:

  • Improved job prospects
  • Parents who employ registered nannies may be able to receive some financial contributions to their childcare costs in the form of childcare vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare
  • DBS check as part of the registration or approval process. 

However, if you don't want to register or become approved, you can still become a nanny member of PACEY.

Direct Debit details

All the normal safeguards and guarantees apply to on-line Direct Debits. No changes in the amount, date or frequency to be debited can be made without notifying you at least 10 working days in advance of your account being debited. In the event of any error, you are entitled to an immediate refund from your bank or building society. You have the right to cancel a Direct Debit instruction at any time simply by writing to your bank or building society, with a copy to us.

In order to set up your Direct Debit Instruction on-line you will need to provide the following information through the setting up procedure (your cheque book or debit card contains all the bank details you require):

Your direct debit is now set up and the email containing your membership details will be with you shortly. Don't forget to log out and log back in again to view your new membership plan.
