Nursery managers

Although it can be incredibly rewarding, running a nursery is hard work. We know that nursery managers face significant management issues on a daily basis. Do any of the following sound familiar?

  • I need to improve or retain our setting's Ofsted grade (England) or CIW or Estyn rating (Wales)
  • We've got to make sure we deliver regulatory and curriculum requirements
  • It's a challenge to retain and motivate staff
  • We're always having to think of new creative ideas to support children's early learning
  • Maintaining or increasing profit is important to our success
  • There's a lack of funds for staff training and development
  • How can I ensure that staff regularly reflect on their practice and continuously improve?
  • There's always a lack of time!

These are issues that PACEY has been supporting individual childcare professionals with for many years. PACEY's Nursery Membership can be a whole-setting solution for these core issues, and more.

Membership will help you support your staff’s ongoing training and development, keep them motivated and engaged, deliver fresh ideas and evidence to parents and regulators how you maintain your team’s knowledge and professionalism.

We’ll support your staff to reflect on their practice, undertake the training and CPD they need and give them access to a wide range of other benefits, support and advice.

Staff training

Our online training helps you meet Ofsted (in England) or CIW/Estyn (in Wales) requirements and receives a 95% satisfaction rating from our members. We offer courses covering many aspects of the regulatory frameworks.

How does it help meet regulatory requirements?

Both Ofsted in England and CIW and Estyn in Wales have certain requirements that PACEY Nursery membership will help you achieve. These include:

  • Improving and delivering relevant qualifications and an effective programme of professional development for staff
  • Staff completing a range of training which helps you to fully meet statutory requirements
  • Improving children’s wellbeing as a results of training

What will we get?

You will receive PACEY’s membership benefits, helping to support your own development and keep your team motivated and happy and deliver fresh ideas and evidence to parents and regulators how you maintain your team’s knowledge and professionalism. Our membership helps you and your team feel part of a community, and most importantly, keep you, and the children in your care, smiling.
