GDPR - your privacy settings

The General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, became law in May 2018.

PACEY's privacy policy

In order to comply with GDPR, we have reviewed and updated our privacy policy and procedures. You can view our updated privacy policy here. It gives you more detail around how we manage and protect your personal data.

Part of this update included a change to the way you can manage your privacy settings with us if you are a PACEY member or a customer.

Use of personal data

PACEY uses personal data to contact members and customers because we have a legitimate interest in doing so. For example, we may contact you to service your PACEY membership; to support you with your qualification or other PACEY products or services you have used. As our communications with you are generally electronic, we also use your privacy settings to ensure we have your permission to contact you electronically.

You now have more control over how PACEY contacts you. You can view your current privacy settings here and, if you wish, make any changes. Please note, you'll have to log in to update your settings. Alternatively, you can contact our customer services team on 0300 003 0005 and they can support you to do this over the phone. You can update your privacy settings whenever you want to.

PACEY's privacy promises

We take your data privacy seriously. We promise:

  • To keep your data safe and private
  • Never to sell your data to any third party
  • To give you ways to manage how we use your data to stay in touch with you

If you have any questions, please contact us by email on support@pacey.org.uk or by calling our customer services team on 0300 003 0005.
