Early years minister announced to cover Kemi Badenboch maternity leave

Department for Education (DfE) have today announced that Michelle Donelan, the MP for Chippenham will temporarily replace Badenboch who has gone on maternity leave. 


£66 million for early years education announced in spending review

In the government’s spending round today, the Chancellor, Sajid Javid has announced £66 million extra spending on education for early years as well as £700 million for SEND.

One year on since Childcare Vouchers closed to new entrants, a 20,000 strong survey of parents, employers and childcare providers has revealed the severe negative impact of the closure.

Welsh Government report on findings/Adroddiad Llywodraeth Cymru ar ganfyddiadau

The purpose of the call for evidence was to seek views on The Child Minding and Day Care Exceptions (Wales) Order 2010, which sets out exceptions to what constitutes ‘child minding’ or ‘day care for children’.
