NEWS: Help us push for more support for childminders - take our survey

While we know that the self-employment support package is going to help some childminders, it will by no means be enough for all. Therefore, we are making it clear to the government that it needs to go further. In order to do that we continue to need evidence of the impact of Covid-19 on you and your service. That is why we are asking you to complete a survey to again evidence to government the changes that are needed.

NEWS: EYFS guidance and Coronavirus FAQ updates

The Coronavirus COVID-19 early years and childcare closures guidance has been updated. There have been a number of key additions to the guidance for settings in England, including information regarding the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS). We have also updated our FAQs.

NEWS: Temporary relaxation of some NMS in Wales in response to COVID-19

The Welsh Government has issued a Circular Letter to provide guidance to the childcare and playwork sector in the light of COVID-19 where temporary relaxation of some of the requirements in the NMS will be allowed.  Mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cyhoeddi Cylchlythyr sy’n cynnig arweiniad i'r sector gofal plant a gwaith chwarae yng Nghymru yng ngoleuni’r sefyllfa barhaus COVID-19.
