A Helping Hand in England
If you’re thinking of creating additional places in your setting in England then ‘A Helping Hand’, a resource from Calderdale Council, is a great place to start. It was written with the input of working childminders, who shared their experiences, the pros and cons of different ways of working, and some of the important considerations for each business model. Featuring information on business structure and planning, it goes on to detail the process for both working with a co-childminder, or taking on an assistant or apprentice.
